Unmix released its holiday 2024 makeup collection in Japan on October 1st. (There is a brief profile of Unmix later on in this post.)
The collection includes:

For your references, Face Glow was launched in Japan in April 2024 with two shades:

If you have been following Japanese cosmetics in the last few years, then you are probably familiar with Unmix and its connection with Chicca. Chicca (owned by Kanebo) was launched in Japan in March 2008 and Yasuo Yoshikawa (吉川康雄) was the creator of the brand. The brand announced in July 2019 that it would be discontinued, and it was officially discontinued in fall 2020. Then, Unmix, also created by Yoshikawa, was launched in Japan in April 2021. The launch line-up featured Moisture Lipstick Glow, Moisture Lipstick Stain and Moisture Lip Base.

Some of the items from Unmix look similar to those from Chicca. For example, Face Glow, Eyelid Nuance (above) and Lipstick (below) look like Chicca’s Flush Blush Powder, Nuance Color Lid and Mesmeric Lipstick respectively. (During Chicca’s first few years, silver cases were used for most of the brand’s items. Later on, white cases were used for most of the items.)
However, there are still differences between the two brands. Chicca’s overall image was refined and sophisticated while Unmix is less formal and edgier. Also, Chicca’s product cases featured more embellishments (including faceted edges and jewel details) while the packaging style of Unmix is more streamlined and minimal. In addition, products from Unmix are overall less expensive.

The brand currently carries point (color) makeup items, makeup brushes and a makeup remover. (It will release base makeup items in 2025.) At the moment, the brand is only available from a few physical stores in Japan but it is available from several major on-line stores in Japan.
The brand is still quite new and has a niche feel. Its product line-up is expanding slowly, and I like the fact that it keeps its product releases fairly edited and doesn’t bring out tons of items every season. I certainly look forward to seeing its future development!
