Kanebo Coffret d’Or Gran will be discontinued in December.
According to the line’s official website (link above), the availability of the line’s products from the line’s physical retail points will be terminated in December and the remaining stock may be available from some of the on-line stores (that currently carry the line) from January 2023.
The website currently has a list of recommended products (from the Coffret d’Or main line) that work as possible alternatives.
It is not likely that there will soon be a new line to replace Coffret d’Or Gran as Kanebo is probably focusing its attention on Media Luxe, which was launched in October. (The two lines have similar target consumer groups as they are both designed to appeal to a more mature clientele.)
It is a pity that the line is going to be discontinued. I like its overall image and I like the two products I have from the line (Elegant Up Cheeks in 03 Rose and Lively Up Cheeks in 03 Rose). (I prefer Elegant Up Cheeks in 03 Rose but I like the packaging of the Lively Up Cheeks range a little better.) I will certainly continue to enjoy using them.
