A Touch of Blusher is twelve years old today!

The on-line landscape has changed so much since the year I started my blog, and, particularly in the last few years, social media platforms have changed the ways brands interact with consumers. Even though, nowadays, Facebook and Instagram are probably the best places for up-to-the-minute beauty news, I do hope that you will find my blog to be useful for information on current and past makeup collections. Also, I will of course continue to share my thoughts in my product reviews.

Once again, let’s look back at the last twelve months of A Touch of Blusher:

November 2017: I loved Shu Uemura’s nostalgic Super Mario Bros. collection for holiday 2017.

December: Chicca’s spring 2018 makeup collection celebrated the brand’s 10th anniversary.

January 2018: Earth-toned blushers were on-trend for spring 2018.

February: I reviewed my first purchase from Media.

.

March: One more blue lip gloss was added to my collection.

April: I tried out NewBorn’s W Brow EX N in B2 Grayish Brown.

May: I reviewed another blusher from Addiction.

June: KANEBO (Global Brand) continued to expand its overseas market.

.

Paul and Joe Lipstick 108 Pink Balloon Fall 2014 Makeup 1

.

July: Anna Sui’s fall 2018 makeup collection celebrated the 20th anniversary of the brand’s beauty line.

August: Amplitude made its debut.

September: I shared my thoughts on Excia AL’s Blush Impression in PK100 in my Stash Debut series.

October: I looked into RMK’s Smooth Cleansing Oil.

Thank you all very much for reading my blog and for taking the time to post your comments, and I hope that you will stop by again soon!

Congratulations on 12 years still standing!!! The landscape certainly has changed, and while I’m not sure it’s for the better, I’m still glad to have the knowledge that many people love and enjoy makeup as much as I do.

And I realized recently that, when it comes to items I cannot get enough of, blusher is at the top of the list.

Hi Aging Ophelia,

Thank you very much! :) Indeed, the on-line world has changed a lot, but, like you, I am definitely still passionate about makeup and beauty in general.

I have a lot of blushers as well, as you can certainly tell. There will be more reviews of blushers to come, so I hope you will stop by again for those! :)

Congratulations on hitting 12 years PJ! Happy to see you still blogging and still sharing about Japanese makeup – many brands of which I don’t have easy access to, but which still attract me all the same! Keep up the hard work – goodness knows, with the changing landscape, it is!

Hi Paris,

Thank you very much, and it is great to hear from you again! :) I am certainly still as interested in Japanese makeup as I was twelve years ago. I do sometimes wish that more Japanese beauty products were available in the UK, but the lack of direct access is probably not a bad thing and is potentially money-saving. More direct access or not, I will try my best to continue to keep you updated on Japanese makeup! :)

Please note that information on purchasing Japanese cosmetics on-line can be found on my FAQ page.

Thank you very much!
