Stella McCartney has released Stella Peony in the UK for fall/winter 2017.
According to the brand’s official website, Stella Peony is a re-release of the original Stella in Two Peony and its fragrance notes include pink peony, black pepper, patchouli and amber.
(Stella in Two Peony was part of the Stella in Two duo (with Stella in Two Peony and Stella in Two Amber), which was released in 2006.)
According to this post from Now Smell This, its fragrance notes also include mandarin, freesia, lotus flower and geranium. (Also, see more information on Stella in Two from the blog.)
I tested Stella in Two when it was available. I did like Stella in Two Peony and I thought it was similar to Stella. (That wasn’t a surprise to me since I knew at the time that Stella in Two was a creation based on the notes of Stella.) Of course, I am looking forward to testing Stella Peony (to see if there are subtle differences from Stella in Two Peony) and seeing the bottle design in person.
In the UK, Stella Peony is available in eau de toilette in 30ml (£42), 50ml (£57) and 100ml (pictured above, £71). (There is also a fragrance pen (7.4ml, £22) available. On the brand’s official website, the item description indicates that it is an eau de toilette but the outer box of the product shown in the images indicates that it is an eau de parfum.)
