Although some of the items from Dior’s holiday 2014 makeup collection look similar to those from holiday 2013, it is always nice to see more Diorific items. Apart from Diorific Golden Shock Illuminating Pressed Powder, I like Diorific Golden Shock Lip Duo and 5 Couleurs in 756 Golden Shock.

Among Lunasol’s Party Coffrets from recent years, Party Coffret 2014 from holiday 2014 is one of my favorites. I like the gentle warm shades in Party Eyes 2014 in EX01 Sheer Beige Brown, and the makeup bag looks appealing as well. The Ahkah collaboration items (below) also feature some soft and wearable colors.

It appears that opinions are divided regarding the new look of Maquillage, which was unveiled for holiday 2014. Some think it is glamorous and stylishly bling-y, while others think it is bizarrely gaudy. I personally like the new look and hope it will be well-implemented on all the upcoming products. (Dramatic Mood Veil and Dramatic Mood Potion for spring 2015 are already looking good.) The snowflake-adorned case of the special-edition Snow Beauty pressed powder adds a seasonal touch to the collection.
