(So many cats in this photo……)
Since the Paul & Joe counter at Fenwick closed in May and there was nothing on sale at Paul & Joe at Harrods this summer, I thought I’d post about my winter sale 2013 purchases last December, which I didn’t manage to write about at the time.
– Eye & Cheek Color Set in 001 (£21 from £42): This is one of the two Eye & Cheek Color Sets released in holiday 2013. It includes:
– Eye Color Duo G in 001 (olive green and beige gold)
– Eye Gloss G in 001 (off-white champagne)
– Blusher Stick G in 001 (strawberry pink)
All the items as well as the makeup bag they come in feature cat motifs. Blusher Stick G is the holiday 2013 edition of Blusher Stick from spring 2012, but the cat design seems more similar to those of Lipsticks C released in fall 2010.
– Self Select Eye Color in 26 (£6.25 from £12.50): Released in summer 2012, it is a deep purple that is suitable for me as an eyelining shade.
– Self Select Eye Color in 30 (£6.25 from £12.50): Also from summer 2012, it is a peacock green that adds a pop of color to the eyes. (It looks slightly less blue than it does in the photo.)
– Eye Color Palette (£4.25 from £8.50): It was released in spring 2010 when Paul & Joe debuted Self Select Eye Colors (with 25 shades). The case can house three Self Select Eye Colors and includes a double-ended applicator.
I always liked the look of the case and I finally decided to get one before it was discontinued along with all the Self Select Eye Colors. (They were replaced by Eye Color Trios and the dual-purpose Compact I (for Eye Color Trios and Cheek Colors).)
I will use this for the eyeshadows I bought this time and the ones I bought at winter sale 2012. (I think the combination of 02, 08 and 26 might be quite nice for everyday wear!)
I am hoping that there will be some Paul & Joe items on sale at Harrods at winter sale 2014. We’ll have to wait and see!
