6th: Maquillage

I like the glamorous look of the Aura Beauty pressed powder in the Aura Beauty set for Maquillage’s holiday 2011 makeup collection, as well as the grater (Blend Sharpener) that turns the pressed powder into loose powder, which can be used with the Face Brush included in the set. The deluxe mirror and the pouch complete this limited-edition set beautifully.
5th: Aube Couture
The Designing Jewel Compact in Aube Couture’s holiday 2011 makeup collection is available in four color variations, and each variation is available in one of the two cases seen above. Each palette contains five eyeshadows (which are designed for a complete eye makeup look) and three lip colors. Between the two cases, I think I like the pale pink one with pink and purple jewel details more.
4th: Jill Stuart

The Fairy Garden Collection set was released for Jill Stuart’s holiday 2011 makeup collection. I think the highlight of the set for many people would be the Jewel Crystal Eyes palette. As I am not usually a fan of the combination of pink and gray, my favorite piece by far is Loose Powder N, housed in the gorgeous case which used to be the packaging for Jill Stuart’s (discontinued) Blush Powder. Even though I don’t own a Blush Powder, the case was also used for the highlighting powder (Glitter Powder in 101) in Jill Stuart’s holiday 2005 makeup collection.
The countdown concludes in Part 3!
