10th: RMK
Among RMK’s Christmas Palettes, the 2011 edition is certainly one of the better ones in terms of mix-and-match possibilities of the eyeshadows and blushers. For me, the highlights of the set are the blushers and the lip gloss. The collaboration with Kate Spade makes this limited-edition set extra special.
9th: SUQQU
SUQQU released two limited-edition Blend Color Eyeshadow palettes for holiday 2010 and another two for holiday 2011. Personally, I think EX-06 Usuchaori (from 2011 Christmas Makeup Kit B) is my favorite of the four. In spite of the fact that the beige-taupe is a little grayish for my liking, the palette as a whole is still very wearable. Plus the texture of the powder is virtually unparalleled.
8th: Dior
Even though Dior’s holiday 2011 makeup collection has a solid lineup and the general quality of the items is what we expect of Dior, I am slightly disappointed with the lack of the usual collectible star item. Also, in terms of the packaging, I think the three makeup palettes (above and below, along with a lip palette) look better in photos than in person.
7th: Anna Sui

Anna Sui’s holiday 2011 makeup collection is quite eye-catching. Each of the two Eye Color Palette & Lip Gloss Sets (above) includes a 6-color eyeshadow palette. The new liquid-type eyeshadow, Metallic Color (below), features bright colors typical of Anna Sui. (It is not a limited-edition product, so you have plenty of time to decide whether you would like to try one of these vibrant shades.)
