Hey PJ!

Thank you for yet another detailed update! Your website is like the all in one makeup resourve guidebook for me :)

I have a question about the Party Coffret and I hope you could help me with it! I’ve not bought anything from Lunasol before so I’m unsure about their procedures. Do I need to make a reservation with the Lunasol store in order to purchase the coffret? Or does it go on a first-come-first-serve basis?

Thank you!

Hi Tessa,

Thank you so much for your kind words! I am very pleased that you find my blog useful! :)

I am presuming that you were asking about purchasing Lunasol’s limited-edition items in Japan. Usually there is no need to make a reservation, and the items should be available for purchase from the launch date.

In the case of this year’s Party Coffret, I haven’t come across information on an official pre-ordering period. But testers of the coffret may be out a few weeks prior to the official release, and some retail points may then start taking reservations. Don’t worry too much if you are not able to make a reservation. It is very unlikely that the entire stock will be reserved before the official launch.

Hope it helps, and thank you for your question! :)

Hi, I don’t know if this is your policy, but most of your entries, you never give prices. For someone who might be interested in purchasing these things, can you list prices? I’m not sure if it’s your policy, but I think it might be a good idea because we can get the product info and the prices in one place. THank!

Hi Z,

Thank you very much for your suggestion.

It is not my policy not to list prices. However, considering the fact that many of my readers are outside Japan and are likely to purchase the items locally and the fact that many of us (including me) are likely to purchase the items from on-line merchants (who have their own pricings), I have been choosing not to list prices in my posts.

Of course, I understand that many of my readers may not be familiar with the general price points of various Japanese beauty lines, and this is one of the reasons why I have been linking to the lines’ official websites in my posts. (Not all of these websites list item prices, but many do.)

But I will take your feedback on board and I will consider listing the prices. In the meantime, please feel free to drop me a line in the comment section if you need pricing information on any particular item.

(By the way, just to be clear, I do not sell the items that I post about on my blog. (Some people have thought my blog is an on-line store. It is not.))

Thank you very much for posting your comment! :)

Please note that information on purchasing Japanese cosmetics on-line can be found on my FAQ page.

Thank you very much!
