Dior will be releasing a small limited-edition makeup collection inspired by Christian Dior’s muse, Mitzah Bricard. The collection includes:
– Mitzah Palette Set (including an eyeshadow palette (above), an eyeshadow brush and a black suede pouch)
– Dior Vernis (two shades)
Animal prints are not really my thing, but I think the palette will become a classic.

I remembered for the past couple of years that Chanel likes to release their own little special collections with an exclusive palette (mostly for big store openings and such), and I think now Dior is following in its footsteps! Mind you, it seems Dior is only putting one such collection each year so far (Love Dior in 2009, Tailleur Bar in 2010, and now Mitzah Bricard in 2011?)
I’m tempted to get the above palette as a collector but I don’t know what I’d do with it as a make-up user.
Hi Ebontien,
I think you are definitely right. I suppose many Dior fans want more than just regular seasonal collections and new product launches and that they want more exclusive and highly-collectible mini collections. I am sure many people will be really looking forward to these items, although personally I am not overly excited.
Thank you for stopping by again! :)
Thank you for sharing! I think it’s lovely!
Hi Sarah,
You are welcome. Thank you for stopping by! :)
when/where can I buy this eyeshadow?
Hi Estelle,
The only information I have about availability is that the collection was released in three department stores in Japan on March 30th and will be available in eleven more on April 15th.
Thank you very much for your question.
