I have received Coffret D’Or’s Color Mixing Eyes in 04 Lavender-Purple Mix (for summer 2009) and both Lucent and High Cover of Lavshuca’s Finish Powder (for spring/summer 2009). I will start trying them out very soon and I will post the reviews later on!

Yay, can't wait for the reviews, esp for the Coffret D'Or summer palette :)
you can never have enough of purple palettes, don't you!
Hi Innerchild,
Thank you very much for stopping by, and I hope you will enjoy the reviews! :)
Hi Zuuchini,
I have been in my purple phase for about two years, and there is no sign of stopping…:)
Thank you for your comment again! :)
can't wait for the new reviews, thanks for letting me know~
Hi Lilsweetkaz,
You are welcome. Hope you will enjoy the review! :)
Come on PJ, I have been waiting for that Lavshuca Finish Powder – High Cover for years….hehe, just kidding, but I really want to know how you think before I purchase.
As from the name "high cover", can I just use a primer with it and skip the foundation one?
Also, what do you think about Sofina Perfect UV sun cream? It is perfectly matte on my combination skin but I think because it contains smoothing agent alcohol. Does it damage skin if used daily? Would be much appreciated if you can recommend a better sun cream.
Thanks very very much!
Hi there,
I am very sorry for my late reply, which is mainly due to the blog downtime…:(
I have tried High Cover and I will be posting the review (of both Lucent and High Cover) either today or tomorrow.
In terms of coverage, I don't think High Cover offers more than Lucent or most other loose powders from Japanese brands. I think you will still need a foundation if you want a sufficient coverage.
Thank you for letting me know that the Sofina Perfect UV has alcohol. (I have not tried it before.) I think that, if you live in a very warm and humid climate and if the alcohol doesn't irritate or dry out your skin, it should be okay to use it. I used to use Sofina's Very Very UV Cut Milk for a couple of years when I lived in a very warm and humid climate and it worked well for me, but I would never want to use it in the UK. The alcohol would certainly dry out my skin.
Hope it helps, and do please stop by and have a look at the Lavshuca Finish Powder review later. Thank you very much! :)
