that must be very expensive…
i got my cristal shine just this weekend, it’s already started to hit counters here in canada! i really love it, the white and silver work well together with the crystal accents.
i’m a little bit underwhelmed with the colors. everything is split up here in north america, with some accounts receiving certain colors and other doors receiving others. For example, shoppers received the blue 5-col eyeshadow, one of the addict lip glosses, and a set of nail polish and kiss gloss that wasn’t pictured here. there are actually three of each!
oh and i wanted to add, the harmonies are permanent, they are replacing the old 4-gradient format ones (which i personally preferred)
Oh pretty! I had seen the blushes and e/s palettes, but not the rest of the collection. I’ll have to go see the glosses and high shines in person now. =)
Well, this one doesn’t do a thing for me. Still, I’m curious. What’s that addict lip glow? Is it a balm? Or lip hilighter? (If that ever exist?)

It appears that different countries are carrying different products, which, as we know, is the usual case with Dior. Also, occasionally, some items are limited editions in some countries and not others.
(Most of the time, the UK is getting very similar items as those sold in Asia.)
I haven’t seen the collection in person, and I am certainly looking forward to it. I probably wouldn’t pick up anything from this collection, but I would love to have a look at Cristal Shine and the eyeshadow palettes.

I am thinking that Addict Lip Glow is mainly a lip balm that probably works as a primer for the lipsticks.

I really want the eyeshadow quint 859! But apparently Holt Renfrew in Canada does not carry it. I will have to call around to ask. Does anyone know if that quint is only available outside of North America?

I am up burning the midnight oil working on a project. Came to get my touchofblusher fix and wind down. Oh what lovely goodies Dior is offering! I am in love with the blue eye shadow palette. Everything is so tempting though. I have just received the Estee Lauder Jasmine palette I mentioned, for Easter I was so thrilled! I loved the turquiose and blue and white in it especially. The thing I love about Dior is you get 5 shades and they are such lovely textures. Is that a silver eye pencil I spy or am I dreaming? Thanks for sharing these pics and for your other great reviews. i saw a zipped “couture palette” on other blogs. the case looks really nice.
else…. the Cristal Shine looks rather cheap IMO. the earlier Star products had more “WOW” to them, like the gorgeous Gourmette bracelet. this is kinda a let down.

i’ve got harmonie blush in rose. love it! i wasn’t aware there is 004 Diorskin Shimmer Powder. I love all the 3 previous ones but I swapped Amber away as i prefer using my MUFE Compact Shine On 05 Amber. I love the other two though.
I need to check this #4 out to see if I need it as I have the rose version.
I’m waiting most impatiently for it to hit our shores. Soon soon… :)

I just went on the French Dior Beauty website and they feature a new in-between collection of mostly lip and nail color called “Lilas Addict”… but on the ad picture there is also a L-I-L-A-C eye palette I hadn’t seen before. I’m sure you will like to look into that. (^_^)

Yes, I believe it is a silver eyeliner. :) I agree with you that the texture of Dior’s eyeshadows is generally very good. At the moment I only have one Dior eye palette, but I have been tempted to pick up a second one many times.
The Jasmine Garden palette looks very lovely. The colors look so fresh and spring-like. (I think the Orchid Garden palette looks pretty good too.)

Thank you very much for bringing my attention to the Lilas Addict collection. I really like the ad image of it. Most of the items look so pretty. I think the lilac palette is the 129 Pearly Lilac that I have seen images of on some other blogs, but it actually looks a lot better on this ad image.

Dior’s summer 2009 collection arrived in the UK a couple of weeks ago too. I checked out the items the other day, and most of them do look very gorgeous.
The 5-Color Iridescent Eyeshadow is 34.5 GBP in the UK, which is currently about 54.9 USD. So the price is similar here, which is mainly because GBP is quite weak at the moment. (Usually, beauty items from non-UK brands are relatively quite expensive in the UK.)
