The main new item is Dual Pressed Powder, which is essentially the pressed version of the two shades of Loose Powder released in fall 2007.
With the Loose Powder, the two shades (Natural and Deep) are meant to be used together. Natural is for the T-zone and the eye area as a subtle highlighter while Deep contours the face. I think this is how it works with the two shades (also named Natural and Deep) in Dual Pressed Powder as well.
All the parts (Natural (refill), Deep (refill), case, and brush) are sold separately.
If you simply want to see how the two shades work together and don’t care about the amount of powder you get, getting the pressed versions (even along with the case and the brush, all together 10500 JPY) will work out cheaper. (The Loose Powder costs 6300 JPY each (puff included).)
The fall 2008 release will also include a new shade for Powder Foundation Glow and Foundation (a cream foundation). Both products were first released in fall 2007. (Please see my review of Powder Foundation Glow here.)

I’m using Suqqu Liquid foundation Aqua everyday and it’s the best liquid foundation I’ve ever used so far! Kind of looking fwd to go back to BKK to do some Japanese cosmetic shopping, Suqqu and Coffret d’or in particular. (though I still have tons of unused cosmetics from Japan) :D
Thats great that it comes in two shades so you can contour and
define the bone structure
better.
Hi Molly,
It is great that SUQQU’s Liquid Foundation Aqua is working well for you. Most of the time, powder foundations suit my skin a lot better, so I haven’t tried a lot of liquid foundations. But the one you are using seems to be well-received in Japan.
Ummm…I actually have a sample of it from the SUQQU counter. I will probably try it later on…

Hi Shopinchic,
Indeed, the concept is good. I think the product should perform well too. :)
Thank you for your comment again! :)
Hey PJ!
Don’t you love when a product mixes two shades in a compact? :D I would love to try dual pressed powder, but I’m afraid I can’t find SUQQU anywhere here! The cream Foundation looks promising as well :)
Hugs!
Hi Eru,
Great to hear from you again!
Indeed, having two coordinating shades in a compact is very appealing. I am certainly looking forward to seeing the product later on.
Unfortunately, within Europe, SUQQU is only available in the UK. But I think you might be able to place a phone order from Selfridges department store in London (where the SUQQU counter is) if you would like to. Also, ichibankao.com is based in Japan and carries the line.
Thank you very much for leaving your comment again! :)
