From March 2008 and for 12 months, each monthly issue includes a book-in-book titled The World Beauty Heritage, featuring a prestigious western or Japanese beauty brand.
Thankfully, Voce is putting pages of this feature on the official website. Even though the texts are in Japanese, the beautiful images are definitely worth checking out. (If you do read Japanese, many featured products include links to their entries in the Voce on-line beauty product database.)
So far the brands featured are:
March 2008: Dior
April 2008: Estée Lauder
May 2008: Cosme Decorte
The webpage is updated monthly as each printed issue is published. So do go back later for more.

Hi PJ,
I have been a fan of your blog and I check your blog almost everyday to see whether there’s any new post. I’m also a massive fan of Japanese cosmetics! Well, just wanna thank you for all your comprehensive reviews, etc. They are all pretty useful with a lot of insights. During my trip to Japan, I bought a lot of Japanese brands that are not available in my home country based largely on your reviews (such as Raycious). Your blog also helped me get to know some interesting Japanese brands like Sofina, Albion, etc that are not available here in Bangkok. Living in Bangkok, I have been using many Japanese brands ranging from SKII to Lunasol to Coffret d’or. Suqqu and RMK are now very popular here as there’s a surge about the high quality of these two brands’ lipsticks. I bought two Suqqu brushes in Japan and they are the best I’ve ever tried!
XOXO,
Molly
Hi Molly,
Thank you very much for reading my blog. Thank you so much as well for your very kind words! :)
It is great that you have quite a few Japanese cosmetics brands in Thailand that we don’t have in the UK. But we do have RMK and SUQQU, and I particularly like SUQQU. I have seen SUQQU’s makeup brushes at the counter, and they are fantastic. The hair is wonderfully soft. I am glad you enjoy your SUQQU brushes!
I actually have one RMK and one SUQQU lipstick. I have briefly talked about my SUQQU lipstick, which has a beautifully creamy texture and is quite moisturizing. The RMK lipstick I have is good too. I might talk about it later on.
I am sure you had a good time in Japan. I would love to go to Japan again soon. Maybe next year. You will definitely read about my trip when I do have a chance to go there again!
Thank you very much for your comment. Hope to hear from you again soon! :)
I picked up this issue when I was visiting Japantown in SF last weekend! I absolutely love to read Japanese beauty/fashion magazines, even though I can’t understand a word~ Glad to see I’m not the only crazy person =D Sad thing is that Japanese cosmetics is so much more available anywhere else than the US. Sigh…
Hi Fuzkittie,
Thank you for visiting my blog!
I love reading Japanese beauty magazines. There is always a lot of information in each issue, and the photography is usually very good.
I do read a little bit of Japanese so I can get the gist of the articles. But unfortunately these pages posted on the Voce website are not big enough for the words to show properly…
Thank you again for stopping by my blog. Hope to hear from you again soon! :)
You have those magazines available in UK, like Biteki and Voce? Wow.. how much do they cost there? Oh I wish I got the September issues, that are just released, they have the Autumn collections featured.
Hi Mizz X,
There are a couple of Japanese bookstores in London, and they stock various popular Japanese magazines.
Biteki and Voce are about 9 GBP per issue. (They are shipped via airmail and they arrive only a couple of days after they are sold in Japan.) They are expensive, but I think they are worth it and subscribers (as I am, of Biteki) get a slightly cheaper rate.
Thank you for your comment again! :)
