This is the first time I was able to have a slightly better look at the range of the collection. It appears that the initial lineup provides a palette of wearable colors, which is obviously typical of a debut lineup (or re-debut in this case). Not particularly edgy or trend-sensitive at this point, but we will see how things evolve.
Just a few things that are on my list of potentials:
— Tempting Duo Intense Duo Eyeshadow
#213 Silky Sunset seems to be a nice combination of pink and lilac. It would be interesting to compare the texture and finish of the lilac eyeshadow in this duo with other lilac eyeshadows I have.
— Flush with Desire Velvet Blush
#101 Shiver and #104 Desire both appear to be wearable for me. I am suspecting the finish of this blusher range to be semi-matte.
— Subliminal Purity Mineral Based Loose Powder
I am still in my loose powder phase and I would be interested in trying this out.
If you have tried any item from the new line, please do let me know. I’d love to hear from you! The line should be launched over here in the UK soon, and it would be great to hear what you like and don’t like about the new beauty line.

Hey PJ, I’ve had the chance to play with the CK Calvin Klein line already. It’s availabe at The Bay in Canada. I wrote about it in my blog already actually. You’re right about the lack of edge colours – most of the daring lipsticks and glosses are quite sheer. One item that caught my eye was the Eye Definition Defining Eye Pencil in 109 Sea Pearl. It’s gorgeous and quite long lasting. I tested it on my hand and it stayed on even after washing my hands.
Hi Psychoexgirlfriend,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the CK Calvin Klein Beauty line!
I have read your review and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely give the products a good testing when I see them in person.
Also, I am glad to know that the products have weight. I usually don’t like products that feel overly light.
However, I think their prices will be substantially more expensive than in Canada and the US. It is the same old story…:(
By the way, just a very trivial note…I remember the pink gown
that Gwyneth Paltrow wore when she won the Oscar was by Ralph Lauren.
Thank you very much for posting your thoughts. Do let me know if you have tried any more items in the future! :)
Hi PJ,
I’ve tested out a lot of the products too and wrote about them on my blog this week! The line is actually really nice. My favorite product by far is the Infinite Matte Oil Free Foundation — it’s really light but gives great coverage! And the Delicious Pout Flavored Lip Glosses are all really pretty and super-wearable.
:)
