So far, I have reviewed two shades of Le Beran Mignon‘s One Stroke Rouge. Shade-wise, I prefer Milk Beige to Apricot Orange, but I do think the overall quality of the product is very good. Today, I will be sharing my thoughts on Chiffon Peach, another shade from the range.
Le Beran Mignon One Stroke Rouge in Chiffon Peach (ル ベラン ミニョン ワンストロークルージュ シフォンピーチ/ Le Beran Mignon 絕美潤唇膏 蜜桃戚風, ¥1480) was released in Japan in spring 2016 as a limited-edition shade. (Milk Beige and Apricot Orange are regular shades and they are still available.) It is a light-to-medium pinkish peach with an above-medium pigmentation level, and it imparts a glossy sheen on the lips. (It goes on lighter and more peach-toned.) It contains a hint of fine shimmer but it doesn’t look obvious on the lips. It is scented with a vanilla fragrance.
It has a creamy and buttery consistency, and it glides well and feels moisturizing on the lips. Both its color and its finish have a good staying power.
It offers an above-medium coverage with a couple of layers and an almost-full coverage with additional layers. (The pigment has quite an opaque base that is somewhat whitish, and the product is able to cover my natural lip color fairly well even when applied light-handedly.)
While the overall quality of the product itself (in terms of texture, application, moisturizing efficacy and lasting power) is good, Chiffon Peach is too pale for me. (Even when I gently dab it on my lips, it still looks fairly pale on me.) Among the three shades of One Stroke Rouge I have tried, Milk Beige is definitely my favorite.
