Even though cool-toned pinks are my preferred blusher shades, I have been experimenting with peach-toned blushers. As I really liked the texture and the finish of THREE‘s Cheeky Chic Blush (read my review of 04 Gift from Time here), I revisited the range to look for a peach-toned shade. I decided to go for 02 Sweet Revolution.
THREE Cheeky Chic Blush in 02 Sweet Revolution (THREE チーキーシークブラッシュ 02 Sweet Revolution/ THREE 蜜光修容 02 Sweet Revolution, ¥3000) was released in Japan in spring 2016 (when the Cheeky Chic Blush range was launched). It is a medium-depth peach with an above-medium pigmentation level. Its finish is between semi-matte and subtly glowy. (It contains some fine, sparse and low-key shimmering particles, but they don’t look obvious on the cheeks.)
It is easy to apply and blend, and it has a good staying power. Since it is quite pigmented, I do need to be fairly light-handed with it to avoid over-applying it.
Generally, for peach-toned blushers to work for me, they need to have enough pink tone. Peach-toned blushers that are more orangy than pinkish can look quite unnatural on me. Fortunately, 02 Sweet Revolution doesn’t look orangy on me.
Overall, I like 02 Sweet Revolution as much as I like 04 Gift from Time. Both are quite vibrant shades with color tones that work well for me, and both have the type of finish that appeals to me. While 04 Gift from Time creates a more feminine look, 02 Sweet Revolution has a more upbeat feel and creates an exuberant look.
(02 Sweet Revolution is fairly similar to 13 She Comes in Colors released in spring 2017. Both are predominantly peach-toned, but 02 Sweet Revolution is slightly more pinkish.)

This shade is so pretty and quite unique. I keep buying coral blushers but I don’t think they’re the most flattering on me,I have nc15 skin with a slight green tint and it just looks weird on me! haha. I want to try THREE cosmetics, though!
Hi Lucy,
Coral blushers can be a little tricky for me too. Generally, they can work for me as long as they are not too orange-toned. (The Benefique Theoty blusher I reviewed works quite well for me.)
If you have a chance, do give THREE a try and let me know what you think! :)
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts again! :)
