With fresh and colorful packaging, Kracie’s Aroma Resort bodycare line caught my attention a couple of years ago. I had a chance to test some of the products from the line last year and I went for Hand Cream in Happy Sweet Peach.

In 2006, some of the divisions within Kanebo Ltd. formed separate legal entities, and, in 2007, these entities adopted “Kracie” as their new brand name. Currently, Kracie carries toiletries, food and medicine. Some of the brand’s toiletry lines that might be familiar to you are Naive (skincare, bodycare & haircare), Hadabisei (skincare) and Ichikami (haircare).
Aroma Resort is a bodycare line that currently features body lotions and hand creams. (The line used to carry shower gels, bath salts and body mists, but they were all discontinued.) The Body Milk currently features six fragrances (from left to right in the image below): Dreamy Bloom Rose, Happy Sweet Peach, Fantastic Berry, Shine Orange & Bergamot, Fine Apple & Gardenia and Marriage Mimosa & Pear. (Marriage Mimosa & Pear was launched in August 2015.)

Below is an image of the Hand Cream lineup from last year. Currently, only three fragrances are listed on the website (Dreamy Bloom Rose, Happy Sweet Peach and Fantastic Berry (the three on the left)). The three on the right (Shine Orange & Bergamot, Fine Apple & Gardenia and Melty Jasmine) are no longer featured on the website but they might still be available if Aroma Resort is available where you are.

Kracie Aroma Resort Hand Cream in Happy Sweet Peach (クラシエ アロマリゾート ハンドクリーム ハッピースウィートピーチ/ Kracie 度假風香氛護手霜 愉悅甜桃, 70g) was first released in August 2012 and it was re-released in August 2014 with a slightly different tube design. (I bought the re-released version in 2015.)
Some of the moisturizing ingredients in this product are mineral oil, butylene glycol, petrolatum, cetearyl alcohol, stearic acid, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil and persea gratissima (avocado) oil. It contains fragrance (parfum), alcohol (a relatively small amount) and parabens.
The product has a light-cream consistency and it spreads very well. It is absorbed quite easily and doesn’t leave the hands greasy. It has a fresh peach fragrance with an aquatic tone and the fruity fragrance is not overly sweet. The fragrance is fairly subtle but it lasts reasonably well.
I find the product to be decently moisturizing, and, for me, it works better than Hacci’s Hand Cream in Happening, which I reviewed a few months ago. It doesn’t work as well as Garnier’s Hand Repair Intensive Restoring Hand Cream but I would consider purchasing it again.
Even though many of Aroma Resort’s products were re-released fairly recently (in August 2014) and a new fragrance (Marriage Mimosa & Pear) was introduced last August, it appears that the line has been slowly downsizing its product lineup. I hope the line will stay around as I would certainly consider trying more of its products.
