3rd: SUQQU

I am sure devoted fans of SUQQU have noticed that the brand’s makeup range has been changing over the last couple of years. The colors and tones are more varied as there are more non-neutral eyeshadow shades and more vibrant lip colors. The brand’s spring 2015 makeup collection is fresh and colorful. The three new variations of Blend Color Eyeshadow combine soft spring-like hues with neutral shades, which have always been the brand’s speciality. However, I am more drawn to the blushers and lipsticks in the collection. I picked up Balancing Cheeks N in 04 Mizuhanamoya and Creamy Glow Lipstick Moist in EX-16 Momobara and I will be reviewing them later. (Update: read the two reviews here and here.)

2nd: Jill Stuart

Jill Stuart’s spring 2015 Ribbon Couture makeup collection features the new Ribbon Couture Eyes series, which is the brand’s first range of five-color eyeshadow palettes. There are quite a few neutral shades among the five variations, and the colors are generally looking very wearable. With ribbon and jewel details, the packaging looks pretty and princessy.
1st: Maquillage
(image from www.shiseidogroup.jp)
Launched in 2005, Maquillage is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Since replacing PN and Proudia ten years ago, Maquillage has been one of the main channels through which Shiseido expresses its aesthetic sensibilities in the Asian market. To usher in a new era, the line has taken on a brand new look. Its spring 2015 makeup collection features Dramatic Mood Veil, and I love the glamorous and substantial-looking rectangular gold case with a vintage feel. It is undoubtedly the item of the season for me.
