(continued from Part 1)
6th: Sonia Rykiel

I like the eye-catching Multico Eyeshadow palettes from Sonia Rykiel’s summer 2011 makeup collection. They are not the tone-on-tone eyeshadow palettes that we see a lot of from Japanese lines, but the colors are very well-coordinated. They are colorful but relatively wearable. My favorite one is, of course, the one with purple, pink, and golden beige.
5th: Esprique
Personally, I think the new Esprique is a successful revamp from Esprique Precious. The One Stroke Beauty theme runs across the items, all of which have caught my attention. I would like to try the new Blend Dimensional Eyes, but I am waiting to see if there could possibly be more variations in the coming seasons.
4th: YSL
For me, YSL’s summer 2011 Summer Night in Paris makeup collection is one of the brand’s more memorable collections. I love the striking combination of royal blue and acid yellow in Ombres Duolumières in 37. The color in Gloss Pur in 11 Icy Effect and La Laque in 137 is more of a warmer teal-blue and it is equally appealing. I also like the new Volupté Sheer Candy lipsticks.
The countdown concludes in Part 3!
