Hi PJ,
Love popping by your blog!
I have a question: are the cases for 2 way cake foundation for coffret dor and kate the same size. I remember reading that japanese makeup houses usually make their cases the same size- but cannot remember where i read that from. after finishing kate, would like to try coffret dor silky pact or beauty lasting (one of your recs!)
Also, I asked you earlier (v. long ago) about the right makeup for my oily skin and whether 2 way cake would be good- am now using kate’s 2 way cake and it is v. good- no breakouts, natural looking… Thanks for the advice- so easy to remove the makeup at end of day and receive compliments on how great my skin looks!!!
Keep up the great work!!!!!!
Regards,
LG
Hi LG,
Thank you for your kind words!
It is great to know that Kate’s powder foundation is working well for you. I am very pleased! Thank you for letting me know!
Yes, in Japanese cosmetics, the sizes of powder foundation refills from various lines under one company are generally the same. But, if you want to fit one foundation refill in the case of another line, do make sure that the refills from the two lines are in the same type of trays (plastic/metal). Otherwise it is not likely to fit properly.
Thank you for stopping by again! :)
Dear LG,
my comment may be too late for you, but if not, I wanted to let you know that I use Kate’s High Cover Powder Foundation (although the non-coverage bright-up color) in a Coffret d’Or case, namely an older one I got in a sale because I liked the design, apparently known as “Snow” on some sites. It’s white with pink snowflakes and sparkles on it. :)
Hi Julia,
Thank you very much for sharing the information! I hope LG will get to read it soon. :)
