Here is a look at Dior‘s fall 2011 makeup collection. The limited-edition star item for fall 2011 is Dior Blue Tie, an eyeshadow and lip gloss palette available in two variations (001 Smoking Blue and 002 Smoking White). Each of the four eyeshadows in the palette will have a different finish (matte, satin, metallic, and sparkly).
The silver case with the cannage patterns looks gorgeous!
The rest of the collection includes:
– 3-Colour Smoky (2 variations)
– Diorshow Liner Waterproof (2 shades)
– Dior Addict Lipstick (4 new shades, limited editions)
– Rouge Dior Sérum de Rouge (4 new shades, including one Japan-exclusive shade)
– Diorblush (2 new variations)
– Dior Vernis (2 new shades, limited editions)
I am really looking forward to seeing both variations of Dior Blue Tie in person. I may have to get one of them……

Ooooh that nail polish is lovely! It reminds me of Essie’s Smooth Sailing from their current summer collection, which would be good in case anyone needs a back-up. And that Blue Tie palette! Just when I start falling out of love with Dior again, it brings me back with things like that and the Lady Dior palette!

I am completely with you. I have not been overly excited by Dior’s recent releases, and I haven’t picked up any item from Dior this year. But this could all change with the fall collection. I think both Dior Blue Tie and 3-Colour Smoky look really good. The blue in the Dior Vernis looks stunning as well!

Greys and darker blues are not the colors that I usually go for, but I am really liking this collection. I think it is because of the product designs. Both Dior Blue Tie and 3-Colour Smoky look very appealing……

I’m excited, Dior seems to be picking up lately, which is good seeing as nothing’s been very interesting lately. The palettes look especially nice and the colour of the lipstick is quite pretty.

I am with you. I have not bought anything from Dior since I got the Minaudière palette from holiday 2010. Even though I do like a few of the new Dior Addict Lipsticks, I haven’t planned to get any. But the palettes for fall 2011 do look very nice, and I am certainly thinking about getting one of the Dior Blue Tie palettes.
