SHISEIDO (Global Brand) will release its summer 2011 makeup collection in Japan on May 1st. The collection includes:

– Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio (above, 1 new variation)

– Automatic Fine Eyeliner (1 new shade)

.

Both items are limited editions.

I don’t think I’m too impressed with this collection. It doesn’t seem to have the vibrant shades that you typically see in most summer collections.

I think the pink in the palette might still show up as quite a vibrant color. But, since many of this year’s summer collections are even more vibrant than those from the last couple of years, it is interesting not to see SHISEIDO with vibrant and contrasting shades for summer 2011.
