To celebrate the opening of the Chanel beauty boutique in Aoyama, Tokyo, Chanel will release a limited-edition Tokyo-exclusive makeup collection. The collection will include a pressed powder, four shades of Glossimer Lèvres Scintillantes and four shades of Nail Colour. Pink, blue, gold, and silver are the chosen shades for the collection. Everything looks very fresh and lovely, and I can’t take my eyes off the blue-tinted lip gloss!
The boutique in Aoyama will be the largest Chanel beauty boutique in the world and will showcase Chanel’s makeup, skincare, and fragrance products.
If you can’t make it to Tokyo, you might want to know that a very limited quantity of the collection will be available in SOGO (Chung-Xiao branch) in Taipei from April 9th.
Sometimes, Chanel’s Asia-exclusive items are available in the Chanel Studio in Harvey Nichols, London, but I doubt it would be the case with this collection.

I saw this collection in biteki and I was hoping it wasn’t a limited release, such a bummer.
I want everything.
Fortunately for my wallet, I don’t live in Tokyo. Lol.
OMG! I am so jealous!!! I want that powder! Wow. Another reason to move to Japan!! *I Must start learning Japanese!*
What a very pretty collection!
teaser!!! but i don’t like pastel shades so i am safe. darn it now that even chanel is doing japan exclusive stuff. why is every brand doing a japan exclusive???
next time, you gotta suggest them doing a singapore or malaysian exclusive. lol.
too far-fetched. :P
Loving those glosses and nail colours. *sigh*
Hi Jenn,
I know… It would be great if I could get to see the collection in person, but unfortunately it is going to be a very limited collection…
Thank you for your comment! :)
Hi Cris,
I do like some of the items. The colors are so fresh and spring-like. Very pretty…
Thank you for stopping by again! :)
Hi Elvira,
I do sometimes envy beauty fans in Japan. They are able to at least see so many gorgeous items!
Thank you for your comment again! :)
Hi Ms N,
I certainly agree with you, and thank you for your comment again! :)
Hi Jojoba,
Sorry for the eye-candy post! :)
I think Chanel does bring out Japan-exclusive items from time to time. I think it works for Chanel and some other major western brands because the Japanese market is big enough and the limited-edition factor will always be very popular. I do envy consumers in Japan sometimes…
Thank you for sharing your thoughts again! :)
Hi The Mighty J,
I am especially liking the lip glosses… :)
Thank you for your comment again! :)

Hi Steph,

Hi Heather,
I certainly agree with you… :)
Thank you for your comment! :)
I’m not a fan of shimmer powders but the lipglosses and nail polishes look so pretty! I can’t decide which to get. The price tag is off-putting though, and there’s no swatches online :( Thanks for the heads-up, PJ. I’m interested in this Japan-exclusive collection!
Hi Innerchild,
I suppose it might be a little difficult to find sufficient swatches on-line to help you with the decision. But hopefully you will come across some soon, as I think the quantity of the items is probably quite limited.
I do like the look of the face powder, but it's the lip glosses that interest me the most. The blue one looks particularly lovely to me…:)
Thank you for your comment again! Let me know what you think if you decide to get some of the items. :)
Hi PJ. I am new here. Just want to ask if you have an idea if they will release this collection in Europe?
Thanks
Hi Pinayfrench,
One reader kindly left a comment and mentioned that the collection is available in Russia. Apart from that, I am not sure if it is available in any other country in Europe. (I have not seen this collection in the UK.)
I have included the two links that are related to this collection towards the end of this post. Do have a look if you haven't come across them.
Thank you very much for stopping by my blog and for your question! :)
