The rest of YSL’s holiday 2008 lineup includes:
– Makeup Palette Bow Collection (with shades for eyes and lips, in a case of a clutch-bag design and presented in a black velvet pouch)
– 4-Color Eyeshadow Bow Collection
– Radiant Touch Bow Collection (works as a highlighter, concealer, and a base)
– Golden Touch Bow Collection (adds pink-gold radiance to the complexion)
– Mini Touche Blush (two shades, available in Japan only)
– Rouge Pur (Pure Lipstick, 1 new shade)
– Young Sexy Lovely Collector Edition Radiant Eau de Toilette (50ml)
The bow lip palette looks cute but it doesn’t wow me, at least for the moment. What do you think about it in comparison with the heart pendant from holiday 2007?

beautiful! we haven’t even gotten YSL Fall! sucks… i think we never got the holiday quads in the past either…
Oh the cuteness!!
Now tell me is it true that YSL is now owned by L’oreal??
Coz thats a bit iffy!!
I prefer the heart pendant, minus the silver finish which was a big let down.
How cute is that Mini Touche Blush though. I want!
Hey PJ!
The fragrance looks utterly cute :D
The bow looks beautyful as well, but I just don’t indulge in those things because when they arrive here they’re extremelly expensive. We shall see.
Hugs!
Hi Jojoba,
I hope you will get the fall collection soon (and the Christmas collection with the quad). The fall collection was launched in August in the UK, and I think we’ll probably get the Christmas collection in late October.
Thank you for stopping by again! :)
Hi Yasumi,
Yes, I think you are right. I believe YSL Beauté is now owned by L’Oréal (instead of Gucci Group). I think the transfer was in effect in June earlier this year. But I am quite sure YSL still has all the creative rights over the product designs.
Thank you for your comment again! :)
Hi Missmall,
I really agree with you. First of all, so far I like the heart pendant a little more. But I didn’t buy it last year mainly because it was silver…:) (I love most of the gold packaging from YSL.)
Thank you for your comment again! :)
Hi Eru,
Yes, I think, in the last few years, these star limited-edition items (particularly those from YSL and Dior) have been getting more and more expensive. I remember it when they used to be 28 pounds. Now they are usually almost 40 pounds…:( Indeed, we shall see!
