Makeup, Skincare, Fragrance and a Bit of Fashion
Fall 2009 was a good season for fans of Japanese cosmetics. It saw the launches of Addiction and THREE, both of which have been major players on the Japanese beauty scene. A few months ago, I shared my thoughts on Addiction’s Lip Gloss in 033 Factory Girl in my Stash Debut series, and today we will look at THREE and Shimmering Color Veil in 35 Shadowland, my first purchase from the brand.

Over the last couple of years, I have been paying more and more attention to Canmake. I have tried the brand’s Cheek Gradation in 06 Candy Stripe and Cheek & Cheek in 02 Rose Tiara, and today let’s look at Glow Fleur Cheeks in 04 Strawberry Fleur.

When I came across images of SUQQU‘s spring 2015 makeup collection, I found quite a few items to be instantly appealing. One of them was Balancing Cheeks N in 04 Mizuhanamoya, and, upon seeing it in person, I decided to get it without much hesitation.

Since Addiction was launched in July 2009, I have been very interested in the brand. I had been wondering what to try for a while until I came across information on the brand’s spring 2013 makeup collection. As a lover of blue lip glosses, I thought Lip Gloss in 033 Factory Girl would be the perfect first purchase from the brand.

For spring 2015, Dior released the Kingdom of Colors palette, which is the limited-edition collector’s item for the season. It features colors for eyes, cheeks, lips and the overall complexion. I decided to get it with my Boots points.

I had a look at (some of) Paul & Joe‘s spring 2015 makeup collection in Selfridges a few weeks ago, and I decided to get Lipstick Case CS 027 from the collection. (Some of the items were not out at the time. I didn’t see the new Face & Eye Color CS palettes.) It is the only item from the collection I definitely wanted, and I remain undecided about one of the new Nail Polishes.

Today, my Stash Debut series continues with Primavista!
Primavista is a base make line from Kao Sofina. It was launched in fall 2008 to replace (my beloved) Raycious. I had a chance to try Powder Foundation Moist Touch and a kind friend shared a couple of other items with me as well, but Face Powder (Keep & Reset) was my first purchase from the line. Stella McCartney‘s Stella Eau de Parfum is one of my favorite fragrances. When I heard about its relaunch last July, I was worried that the scent would be tweaked. Even though the information I came across at the time suggested that it would remain the same, I thought I would only be convinced when I had a chance to smell it. Now I am relieved to say that it is the same, and today I will talk more about this well-crafted fragrance.

Kanebo Coffret d’Or‘s Smile Up Cheeks seems to be a popular item in Japan. It is currently ranked sixth in the powder blusher category at Cosme.Net (voted by the website’s members) and the variation in 02 Peach is third in the blusher category in Biteki‘s 2014 reader survey (February 2015 issue).

Back in 2008, I posted about the cute nail and cuticle oils I had. As I said, they are not absolute necessities for me and I don’t use them on a daily basis. However, I did get two more in the last couple of years. (Yes, I still like the cute-looking ones……)
