Shiseido continues the gradual packaging revamp of Maquillage with the launch of Cheek Color (Clear) and the relaunch of Cheek Color for the line’s spring 2017 makeup collection. Another highlight of the collection for me is the eye-catching Dramatic Mood Eyes in BL727, which reflects the makeup trend of spring 2017.

Paul & Joe‘s Pearl Foundation Primer in 001 Bonbon was first released in spring/summer 2012 and re-released in holiday 2012 (the year when the brand celebrated its beauty line’s 10th anniversary). This year, Pearl Foundation Primer in 002 Sweet Bonbon was released as part of the brand’s spring 2017 Les Petits Noms d’Amour makeup collection, which celebrates the beauty line’s 15th anniversary. From the collection, I went for the beautiful Compacts and Lipstick Cases CS, which I wrote about earlier, and I also decided to add the primer to my collection.

Paul & Joe will release a makeup collection in Japan on April 7th to celebrate its beauty line’s 15th anniversary. (The brand’s 20th anniversary makeup collection from 2016 celebrated its fashion line’s 20th anniversary. The collection that commemorated the beauty line’s 10th anniversary was released in fall 2012 (bottom right in the image posted in the update in July 2012).)

In fall 2014, Paul & Joe updated its Lipstick range by releasing 13 new (regular) shades and discontinuing 8 shades. All the 25 shades in the updated lineup are still available, and today we will be looking at 107 Rose Sorbet (one of the 13 shades from fall 2014). (104 Mademoiselle and 207 Grapevine, released in fall 2012, are still available as well.)

Among Paul & Joe‘s holiday 2016 Marché de Noël makeup collection are five limited-edition shades of Lip Gloss Limited. I went for 003 Confectionery Sugar, which caught my attention with its vibrant hue.

Sweets Sweets’ holiday 2016 makeup collection features the new Fruit Tint Balm. 02 Clear Blue actually turns into a light pink when it is applied on the lips (it is not really a blue-tinted lip gloss), but I love the bright warm blue in the tube.
