Makeup, Skincare, Fragrance and a Bit of Fashion

Red-toned shades are among the eyeshadow shades I have been experimenting with lately. (Red-toned eyeshadows have obviously been popular for some time, but I have only been interested in them since earlier this year.) SUQQU‘s Designing Color Eyes in 128 Hiakari in the brand’s 2019 Holiday Makeup Kit A caught my attention as soon as I saw images of it on-line. I decided to go for the set to try it.

It is interesting to see that sheer blue-tinted lip glosses have been far more popular in the last couple of years than they were in 2007 (when I wrote about them for the first time). (See another post from 2011. Again, they were not as popular then.) It seems that RMK’s Lip Jelly Gloss in 03 Baby Blue from holiday 2015 was at least partially responsible for starting a trend in East Asia, and quite a few beauty brands followed it. (See my makeup trend report from fall 2017.)
In 2011, I wrote about Chanel‘s Lèvres Scintillantes in 387 Wish (a blue-tinted lip gloss from the beautiful Tokyo Happening makeup collection in 2009) in the From My Treasure Chest series, and today I will be focusing on Rouge Coco Gloss in 792 Aphrodite from the brand’s spring 2018 Neapolis: New City makeup collection.

Lovetulle is a fairly new Japanese drugstore beauty line, and today I will be sharing my thoughts on Pure Liquid Rouge in Rose Pink, my first purchase from the line.

I love blue-tinted lip glosses (see this post and this post), and Sweets Sweets‘ Fruit Tint Balm in 02 Clear Blue caught my attention. I knew it would change into a pink shade on the lips, but I still decided to add it to my collection.

Paul & Joe‘s Lip Gloss G has been around for quite some time. (Read my review of 07 Tangerine.) As products from Paul & Joe get revamped every few years, I decided to add 05 Mon Chéri to my collection (before it is too late).

I reviewed Chicca‘s Flush Blush Powder in 04 Sweet Pink in 2015 and Mesmeric Lipstick in 08 Rose Glacé in 2016. Today, I will be sharing my thoughts on Mesmeric Gloss On in 05 Moon Pink.

Among Paul & Joe‘s holiday 2016 Marché de Noël makeup collection are five limited-edition shades of Lip Gloss Limited. I went for 003 Confectionery Sugar, which caught my attention with its vibrant hue.

Anna Sui launched Rose Ring Rouge in fall 2013, and, today, I would just like to share with you a few photos of Rose Ring Rouge in 200.
