First of all, apologies for the delay in posting about this stash update.
I have to admit that, ever since the last Paul & Joe winter sale, I had been waiting for the next one. (Paul & Joe does have items on sale during the summer sale, but the lineup is usually not as impressive, and I didn’t purchase any sale item last summer.) There were a lot of items on sale for the winter sale 2011, and, for the first time (that I can remember), holiday limited-edition items were sold at reduced prices at Paul & Joe counters right on the other side of Christmas.

After purples for spring 2011 and blues for fall 2011 (as well as warm-toned and cool-toned neutrals, which have been taking turns to be on-trend in the last few seasons), we have green in its various hues for spring 2012.
Givenchy‘s spring 2012 Instant Bucolique makeup collection features a strong visual (above) and makes a statement with a fresh and spring-like minty green in Le Prisme Eyes Quartet in 79 Bucolic Blossoms. A very similar shade is seen in Venis Please in 178 Bucolic Lily.

With the gorgeous rose motifs, Dior‘s spring 2012 makeup collection, Garden Party, is such a pretty collection. The limited-edition seasonal star item, Dior Garden Clutch, is available in two variations, 001 Milly Garden and 002 Granville Garden. The choice was easy for me. As I prefer warmer neutrals, I went for 002 Granville Garden with my Boots points.

I still remember seeing Paul & Joe Beauté‘s beautiful debut collection for spring 2002 in Biteki magazine. Over the years, the style of the packaging has remained the same, which I think is one of the elements that reflect the success of the line. It is the combination of the soft and feminine product packaging design and the seasonal fashion-inspired Collections Sparkles, which are based on designer Sophie Albou’s catwalk creations.
Paul & Joe’s spring 2012 Meow! makeup collection celebrates the line’s 10th anniversary, and the inspiration of the collection is Albou’s love of cats. Today I am featuring Face & Eye Color CS in 078 Purr-fect and Lipstick C in 077 Catwalk.

Happy New Year, everyone!
In my first post in 2012, I will be sharing my thoughts on Visée‘s Glam Glow Eyes in GR-4. The Glam Glow Eyes series (available in 5 variations) is from Visée’s fall 2011 makeup collection. I have previously reviewed BR-3.

According to Giorgio Armani‘s website, the Eyes to Kill Silk Eye Shadow (“Eyes to Kill Intense Eye Shadow” on the brand’s website) has a hybrid texture (between a powder and a cream) and provides smooth and lasting color. 16 shades are available (along with 2 limited-edition shades for holiday 2011), and today I am highlighting 2 Lust Red, 4 Pulp Fiction, and 7 Sweet Fire.

For the last few years, Paul & Joe has been releasing a wide range of items for the holiday season. For holiday 2011, there are makeup and bodycare products as well as a clutch bag. Among the collection are 5 Ornamental Self Select Eye Colors, each of which is packaged in a decorative box of a different design. Today I am highlighting 001 and 004.
