Kanebo Coffret d’Or‘s Smile Up Cheeks seems to be a popular item in Japan. It is currently ranked sixth in the powder blusher category at Cosme.Net (voted by the website’s members) and the variation in 02 Peach is third in the blusher category in Biteki‘s 2014 reader survey (February 2015 issue).

One of the star items of Jill Stuart‘s launch lineup in 2005 was Blush Powder. It was a loose powder blusher in a very pretty container. I was tempted to get it, but then I got the 2005 Christmas Collection set, which included a highlighting powder in the same container (left in the photo). Then, in fall 2010, Blush Blossom was released. It was Jill Stuart’s new loose powder blusher, which, in a way, replaced Blush Powder. I decided to try 01 Romantic Sweet Pea.

Canmake is a popular Japanese drugstore beauty brand with reasonably priced products, and it was on my list of brands to purchase from for years. (A few years ago, I tried a couple of Canmake items that were kindly passed on to me from a friend.) Some time ago, I decided to get Cheek Gradation in 06 Candy Stripe. (Since then, I picked up a couple more products, which I will talk about later.)

Since I reviewed Jill Stuart‘s Mix Blush Compact in 01 Baby Blush, I have been going back to it quite frequently and it has gradually become one of my favorite blushers. In spring 2013, Jill Stuart not only released a new blusher, Layer Blush Compact, but also brought out Mix Blush Compact N (a revamped version of the original). There were ten blushers in the collection altogether, which was great for a blusher enthusiast like me. I was keen to try Layer Blush Compact, and I decided to go for 01 Baby Berry.
