Today, my Stash Debut series continues with Primavista!
Primavista is a base make line from Kao Sofina. It was launched in fall 2008 to replace (my beloved) Raycious. I had a chance to try Powder Foundation Moist Touch and a kind friend shared a couple of other items with me as well, but Face Powder (Keep & Reset) was my first purchase from the line. 3rd: Visée

When it comes to eyeshadows, purples and warm neutrals are the two color groups I go for the most, so it is great to see that the eye color items in Visée’s holiday 2014 makeup collection feature nothing but my favorite colors. Some of the Matte Nails shades are looking appealing as well, particularly PU100, a light lilac, and PK802, a lilac-toned pink.

Kao Sofina Aube Couture will release its spring 2015 makeup collection in Japan on November 25th. After a year of Designing Impression Eyes II, Designing Impression Eyes is back with two new variations. There will also be a new range of lipsticks.

For fall/winter 2014, Kao Sofina Primavista Ange will add a loose powder to its base makeup lineup. The powder (6g, NTD 420 (approx. USD 14.05/ GBP 8.54)) is designed to deliver shine control and pore coverage while creating a natural and translucent finish.
It will be released in Taiwan on September 19th.
(The Primavista Ange line is not available in Japan.)

Earlier this year, I reviewed Powder Foundation UV (Long Keep) from Kao Sofina Primavista Ange, a base makeup line developed for the Taiwanese market. (The line is not sold in Japan.) The products are formulated to appeal to those with combination or oily skin who need to cope with a warm and humid climate. Besides the powder foundation, I also purchased Long Keep Base UV and Liquid Foundation UV (Long Keep). (I rarely use primers or liquid foundations, but I was curious about them.) Today I am reviewing Long Keep Base UV.

One of Sofina Aube Couture‘s main aims is to make makeup application as easy and straightforward as possible, and it is not difficult to see how the line tries to achieve this with its product designs. (See my post on Aube Couture’s user-friendliness.) One good example of this is the design of the line’s eyeshadow palettes (Designing Eyes, Designing Shine Eyes, Designing Impression Eyes and Designing Impression Eyes II). The colors in the palettes are arranged in a way to show where they are applied on the eye areas. In the same vein, the line’s Designing Puff Cheek, launched in summer 2013, attempts to make blusher and highlighter application quick and simple.
