On September 21st, Shiseido launched Playlist in Japan. The line is created in collaboration with the hair and makeup artists from Shiseido Beauty Creation Center, and it targets consumers in their thirties and late twenties. Its launch lineup for fall 2016 features point (color) makeup items, base makeup items, skincare items and makeup brushes.

Kosé Visée will launch Visée Avant (ヴィセ アヴァン), a sub-line of Visée, in Japan on August 21st. Unlike Visée (or Visée Riche), which has a feminine and romantic look, the new Visée Avant will have an edgier image.

On September 15th, Kanebo will launch KANEBO (Global Brand) in Japan. The new line will feature skincare, base makeup and point (color) makeup items, and it will be targeted at both the domestic and the international markets (more information on international availability below).

Sweets Sweets is a Japanese drugstore makeup line that has been around for at least ten years. About three years ago, the line started to release products with a girlier and slightly more ornate style of packaging. I just purchased my first item from the line a couple of months ago, and, after that, some of the line’s upcoming releases also caught my attention.

With fresh and colorful packaging, Kracie’s Aroma Resort bodycare line caught my attention a couple of years ago. I had a chance to test some of the products from the line last year and I went for Hand Cream in Happy Sweet Peach.

Fall 2009 was a good season for fans of Japanese cosmetics. It saw the launches of Addiction and THREE, both of which have been major players on the Japanese beauty scene. A few months ago, I shared my thoughts on Addiction’s Lip Gloss in 033 Factory Girl in my Stash Debut series, and today we will look at THREE and Shimmering Color Veil in 35 Shadowland, my first purchase from the brand.
