Paul and Joe Hair and Body Mist Holiday 2013 Bodycare Haircare Fragrance 1

.

I do love my fragrances, but, when the weather is warmer, I sometimes reach for lighter options such as body mists. (I hope my readers in the UK are enjoying the nice weather (despite the occasional rain).) One body mist that I recently purchased is Paul & Joe‘s Hair & Body Mist, which was released as part of Paul & Joe’s holiday 2013 bodycare collection. (It is not a seasonal limited-edition item.)

Jill Stuart Relax Eau de White Floral Eau de Cologne Holiday 2012 Fragrance 1

.

The first fragrance release from Jill Stuart in Japan was a trio of scents (Jasmin Fleur, Night Blooming Lily and Vanilla Lust) back in 2006. (According to Fragrantica, these three scents were released (presumably in North America) in 2005.) I remember wanting to try Jasmin Fleur at the time, and I nearly decided to buy one on eBay. (They were never available in the UK.)

Over the following few years, Jill Stuart released more fragrances (such as Jill by Jill Stuart (2007), Night Jewel (2009) and Vanilla Lust (2011, a different version)), but it was Relax Eau de White Floral that got me interested again. It was released in December 2012 soon after the brand debuted the Relax bodycare range in September.

L'Occitane The Vert and Bigarade Eau de Toilette Summer 2013 Fragrance 1

.

Last summer, L’Occitane debuted La Collection de Grasse, a collection of fragrances created by the brand’s new (and first) in-house perfumer, Karine Dubreuil. The idea of the collection is that each scent is based on two main notes from different parts of the world. (In Japan, the collection is called Ampersand Grasse, highlighting the key concept of union.)

The launch lineup featured four scents: Jasmin & Bergamote, Magnolia & Mûre, Vanille & Narcisse, and Thé Vert & Bigarade. For fall 2013, Ambre & Santal was launched, and, for holiday 2013, Fleur d’Or & Acacia and Cèdre & Oranger were added to the collection. (Also, Rose & Osmanthus is available in some countries.) Today I am featuring Thé Vert & Bigarade.
