There is something quite Japanese about Bobbi Brown’s Surf & Sand Eye Palettes for summer 2014. Japanese beauty lines, such as Lunasol, often release eyeshadow palettes with warm neutrals and those with combinations of neutrals and greens/blues for summer, and the Surf & Sand Eye Palettes remind me of them.

Here is a look at Dior‘s fall 2014 makeup collection. The 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palettes will be revamped. There are variations with gradational neutral shades alongside edgier ones with contrasting colors.

As I mentioned in the post on Dior‘s summer 2014 Transat makeup collection, the Diorskin Nude Tan Transat Edition was love at second sight. I then had a look at it in person just to be sure and purchased it with my Boots points.

Here is a look at Dior‘s summer 2014 Transat makeup collection. The seasonal limited-edition collector’s item is the Diorskin Nude Tan Transat Edition. Initially, I thought it looked just like some of the Diorskin Nude bronzing powders from the last couple of years. However, the Transat Edition is more of a champagne-gold finishing powder. I like the rope design details, which evoke a sense of journey and adventure.

3rd: Dior

Dior’s spring 2014 Trianon makeup collection has a diverse range of colors, with shades of pink, peach, green, blue, purple, and gray. The highlights of the collection are the two Trianon Palettes, but some of the other items, such as the Trianon Editions of 5 Couleurs, Diorshow Mono and Diorblush, look impressive as well.

Here is a quick look at two items from Dior‘s upcoming spring/summer 2014 Diorsnow makeup collection that caught my attention. The very pretty Fresh Blush (above) features soft medium-to-warm hues, while the 5 Couleurs palette in 874 Tenderness (below) includes pinks and peaches that echo the blusher shades.

Purple is a versatile color. It can be cute, sensual, sophisticated, vibrant, and edgy. It has also been one of my favorite colors for many years. Here is a quick look at Dior‘s spring 2014 makeup collection. The seasonal limited-edition collector’s item is the Trianon Palette. Available in two variations (001 Favorite (below) and 002 Coquette (above)), the palette looks similar to the Dior Chérie Bow palette from spring 2013 but contains a blusher instead of a lip gloss. I like the colors in 002 Coquette.

10th: Lavshuca

Lavshuca’s fall 2013 makeup collection features red cases for the products. This is a new look for the line, but I still prefer the original (pre-fall-2012) packaging. I like some of the variations of Melty Heart Eyes and the gradational look of Melty Trick Cheeks in this collection.
