When it comes to summer makeup, a lot of the focus is on nail colors. If you follow Japanese cosmetics regularly, you will probably notice that this is especially true in Japan. Summer nail color releases from Japanese brands tend to cover wide varieties of colors and finishes, and I love looking at all the gorgeous shades.

Today, I am sharing with you some of the nail colors from Japanese beauty brands/lines for summer 2020. These are the shades that I personally like (from rich turquoise to sparkling gold and from pastel lilac to vibrant tangerine), and I hope you will spot a few that you fancy as well! Canmake‘s Marshmallow Finish Powder is among the brand’s most popular products. I got curious about it partly because I came across many positive reviews of it over the last few years and partly because I really liked the marshmallow-y matte finish of the brand’s Mat Fleur Cheeks. I decided to give it a try, and I went for the shade in ML (Matte Light Ochre).
