In July, I posted a link to a beauty-related survey for my UK readers, which is part of a research project by Ms. Dora Chan which looks into cosmetics-purchasing habits of British consumers.
Dora has kindly shared the survey results with me and allowed me to post the link to them on my blog. Do have a look here if you are interested. (Note that the results are not just from the readers who took the survey from the link I posted earlier.)
If you would like further information on the research project, please feel free to contact Dora at S.Chan9@student.westminster.ac.uk.

If you are one of my readers in the UK, please consider taking part in a survey that looks into consumers’ buying behavior in the area of beauty products.
Ms. Dora Chan is studying for an MA in International Business and Management at the University of Westminster, UK. Your participation will provide valuable input for her research project.
The survey will not ask participants for their personal details. You can also look through the questions before you decide whether to take part.
Please find the survey here. Again, please note that the survey is for UK residents only.
If you would like to know more about the research project or are interested in the findings, please e-mail Ms. Chan at S.Chan9@student.westminster.ac.uk.
Updated on August 18, 2008:
The survey will close on August 24, 2008.

– If you have been gathering reviews of the new Coffret D’Or Trance Deep Eyes palettes, do come back in July. I will bring you reviews of 01 Rose Variation and 04 Grey Variation. I will also review Coffret D’Or’s loose powder. (It’s a keeper!)
– You will be seeing a new three-part series, Beauty City Mini-Guide. Since I often receive e-mails from readers asking for suggestions on beauty shopping when travelling, I have decided to present some of my personal experiences as blog articles. Each of them will focus on one particular city.
If you would like to make sure you don’t miss any of these future posts, please consider subscribing to my blog via e-mail or a feed reader. Thank you very much!

A new post category, Japanese Brand Profile, has been added to the “Read by Topics” list on my blog sidebar.
Under this category, you will find my recent brand-focus posts, posts on news of brand launches, and others where I briefly profile a brand within a product review.
The posts in my Loving Japanese Brands series, which highlights my seven favorite Japanese beauty brands, are also placed in this category for your ease of navigation.
More posts will be added to this category as I continue to highlight other Japanese beauty brands. Some future posts include profiles on Kanebo Freeplus (up later this week), Ettusais, Kesalan Patharan, Lissage, and ECM. Please stay tuned!

If you are a fan of Japanese cosmetics and a member of Makeup Alley, then you probably have read some of the great product reviews by Kathi (fleckenschnitte). To me, her reviews are always informative and often very “inspiring” (I am sure you know what I mean…).
Now Kathi has her own blog, Lotus Palace, where she continues to review beauty finds from Japan. It is also a great blog to check out if you are looking for information on Korean cosmetics.
From now on, you will be able to find the link to her blog from my “Loving These Sites” list. I hope you will enjoy her blog as well!

Enjoy!

If you enjoy reading about thoughts on various beauty brands and items and particularly if you have been looking for reviews of Japanese cosmetics, do please visit Betsy’s blog Autumn Masquerade.
Some of Betsy’s favorite brands include Lunasol, Lavshuca, SUQQU, Jill Stuart, Givenchy and Chantecaille. She has reviewed quite a few items from her stash and I am sure there will be more to come!
I hope you will enjoy her blog as much as I do!

I have added two new categories on my side bar so you can locate my past posts more easily:
— My Current Makeup Favorites
— My Skincare Essentials
The items in “My Current Makeup Favorites” include both some of my long-term staples and seasonal favorites. “The Skincare Essentials” feature items I am using on a daily basis now.
I will update these two categories constantly to reflect my current preferences (especially regarding my seasonal favorites), so do check back!
