Here is a quick look at NARS‘ spring 2011 makeup collection. One item that really caught my eye is the limited-edition Trio Eyeshadow in Calanque (pictured above and below).

I generally prefer neutral shades from Japanese brands to those from western brands, as those from western brands are often too warm, too cool, too matte or too frosty for me. But since the colors, finish and texture of Duo Eyeshadow in Kalahari do appeal to me, I am looking forward to Calanque. The amount of warmth and the finish will be the deciding factors…

I am sure most of you have seen Chanel‘s Les Perles de Chanel makeup collection for spring 2011, either on-line or in person. The limited-edition star item of the collection is the Ombres Perlées de Chanel palette, and I am looking forward to seeing it in person.
In addition, for spring 2011, Chanel will release the Tourbillon D’Éclat de Chanel makeup collection to go alongside the new whitening skincare range in Asia. The star item of this collection is Poudre Lumière Perle (top in photo below).

Paul & Joe has updated its website to feature information on the brand’s spring 2011 makeup collection, which will be released in Japan on February 4th. One item that I didn’t feature in my previous post on the collection is Face Color Kit (above, 2 variations), which includes Face Color S, Mini Brush, a piece of Japanese-style wrapping cloth, and a case.
I am quite interested in the kit, as I like the Face Color S in 001 Parasol and the print of the cloth and the case. But I am not sure if this kit will be available in the UK, since it is only featured on Paul & Joe Beauté’s Japanese site, not on the English or the French site. I will keep you posted if I come across any further information.
